PRE PRODUCTION | MY IDEA | STORY BOARD

Above is rough story board I have created for my short film. I did this to ensure that i knew what i wanted to happen in my short film and to not get side tracked when filming each scene.
Below I have written about what music, setting, characters and dialogue will be in each scene.

SCENE ONE- TITLES:
shots- mixture of shots, slow motion, decreased colour
music- eary, child voices music playing in background
setting- school
characters- Older Ella and Avi
dialogue- no dialogue, titles will run with shots i.e Starring ella young.

SCENE TWO- YOUNG ELLA:
shots- high angle shot of hannah sitting down playing with toys
music- N/A
setting- hannahs house, child like bedroom
characters- Hannah and Psychologist (voice over)
dialogue- voice over of a psychologist
"May Smith, born 3 weeks premature, first visit regarding eating disorder at 6 years old, complains of voices and hullucinations"

SCENE THREE- YOUNG ELLA:
shots- low angle shot of hannah looking down
music- N/A
setting- again hannahs house
characters- hannah and ella (voice over)
dialogue- voice over of ella
"3rd of april, thats when i did it, i didnt mean too, infact it wasnt even me, it was her. Her inside me. She did it. Not me"

SCENE FOUR- ARGUING:
shots- shot reverse shot, 180 degree rule in play
music- N/A
setting- at school, outside maybe
characters- Ella and Avi
dialogue- both speaking

SCENE FIVE- PLANNING:
shots- mid shot, high angle
music- eary music, high pitch
setting- ellas bedroom
characters- just ella
dialogue- no dialogue but can read what ella writes

SCENE SIX- FLASH BACK:
***same as scene two***

SCENE SEVEN- POLICE:
shots- long shot, mid shot, establishing shot
music- sad music
setting- police station (DIY)
characters- ella
dialogue- voice over of ella reading statement

SCENE EIGHT- DEATH:
shots- panning, zoom, shallow focus
music- sound bridge from scene seven
setting- outside, field?
characters- ella and avi
dialogue- continuous of scene seven voice over
